The article below showcases office refurbishment work carried out for one of our London clients.
As part of its rebranding process, Rentavent looked to JBH Refurbishments to create a new sophisticated office refurbishment that incorporated key elements of its new logo.
As with all of our projects we were excited to be part of the Rentavent’s rebranding of its office and to put our office refurbishment expertise to work.
The designers at JBH Refurbishments hit the ground running, and started the refurbishment process by initially providing computer generated visuals/drawings show the client how the end result would look. These were well received and work soon began to refurbish the entrance hall, stairwell, reception area and boardroom.
Entrance and Staircase
We began the office refurbishment with the uninspiring entrance and staircase which were given a new lease of life. The hues used for the carpet and bespoke wall art echoed the company’s branding. New high gloss storage walls were handcrafted to disguise and hide unsightly utilities in the entrance area, and the metal stair rails were replaced with inconspicuous glazed stair railings to give the impression of space and light.
In the reception area Rentavent wanted to provide its visitors with the ‘Wow factor’. The carpenters and office designers at JBH Refurbishments came up with the idea to create a bespoke reception desk that would become a statement piece of furniture. As a result they hand built a beautifully sculpted reception desk that encapsulated the curves and colours within the logo. Recessed LED lighting was integrated to add a contemporary look.
To accompany the new centre piece, and again reflect the company’s new logo, JBH painted lines on the walls with a gradual increase of size and shade. Spot lights were inserted into the suspended ceiling to replace the fluorescent lights and the old grey carpet was replaced with a smart tiled floor. To provide much needed office storage space, JBH installed floor to ceiling storage walls, which are a cost effect solution for any business looking to update their office.
By bringing together the office refurbishment through the use of bold furniture and coordinating the reception area colours with high impact graphics, Rentavent can now immediately make a great first impression on any visitors to its offices.
The final area to receive a facelift was the boardroom. Here, JBH used its expertise in contemporary office refurbishments to build a suspended ceiling, with recessed colour changing LED lighting. First they had to block a window to allow for a protruding wall panel, that seamlessly merges from the suspended ceiling, to provide a frame for three television monitors.
This is a very effective space saving solution for any business looking to incorporate AV equipment into their office refurbishment. To complete the boardroom’s new look, JBH painted the room white, fitted the same carpet used for the stairwell – with green accents – and replaced the fluorescent lighting in the original suspended ceiling with spot lights.
The overall office refurbishment of the Rentavent entrance, staircase, reception and boardroom was extremely well received by the client, who is currently making a decision over the boardroom furniture.
