When Odin Partners acquired the lease of a hospitality suite at Arsenal Emirates Stadium, they wanted to create an informal space to entertain business associates.
Relationships and quality are the company’s core focus, and it was important that the interior echoed the company values. The Odin Partners team contacted JBH Refurbishments to assess the site and were immediately impressed by our creative vision for this compact space.
The hospitality suite that Odin Partners had leased was presented with muted décor, basic furniture and a media wall. While this was acceptable décor for a corporate meeting, it did not match the company’s desire for a relaxed setting that embodied their brand values.
Upon appointment to transform this compact space into a stylish entertainment hub, we created a moodboard and 3D plan to help the client visualise the end result.
The finished suite features various unique and bespoke items, including a bespoke sofa, serving table for canapés, media wall and vinyl wrap to disguise the wooden panelling.
One of the many perks of a hospitality suite is having the freedom to roam or sit during a match. The way this space would be used played a large part in our furniture choices.
Being such a compact space - at only 17.5 m2 - it was essential that the furniture we supplied would not dominate the area, yet it still provided enough seating for the maximum number of guests. With no clear off-the-shelf solution available on the market, we opted to create our own.
The corner sofa is completely bespoke. We designed and made the corner sofa to fit the space and provide optimum comfort. Finished in dark blue leather, it is stylish, sophisticated and hardwearing.
To further define the sofa area, we installed two glass pendant lights with squirrel bulbs above two circular tables.
A hospitality suite is not complete without a table to serve canapé and beverages, so we custom-crafted a grey bench-table to match the media wall.
The rest of the furniture was selected to compliment the rich colour palette.
Being a high-end refurbishment of an entertainment space, we decided to create a media wall, which would become the focal point of the room. The media wall would also disguise the unsightly electrical cabling and the heating system.
We built the large entertainment wall to stand slightly proud of the main wall. This would allow access to the utilities behind and provide a prominent feature.
Custom-made vents were integrated into the new wall, ensuring that the heat could still penetrate the room. The vents were powder coated in the same charcoal grey finish as the rest of the wall.
To complete the look, we backlit the wall with LED lighting.
The result is a seamless and sophisticated media wall.
The room's original muted tones, coupled with the dark wooden panelling and a integrated door were imposing. Our plan for the space was to create an informal and sophisticated suite to entertain.
Due to its compact size, we decided that the dark wood panelling, which ran along the back wall, must go! But, we couldn’t paint it or replace it, as this was a leased suite. Instead, we used a bespoke vinyl wrap to cover the entire wall and door. The geometric pattern on the vinyl was a good representation of Odin Partners’ ability to connect people and businesses.
Parallel with the media unit was a large wall, presenting a blank canvas for our designers. We saw this as an opportunity to bring a touch of luxury to the mix, so we opted for a natural textured wallpaper to soften the room. This was finished with an array of framed Arsenal memorabilia.
To complete the hospitality suite refurbishment, we fitted a wooden panel floor, which emulates tones from the grey media wall and textured wallpaper, bringing the design together.
“Dave and the team were responsive, communicated well and clearly wanted to do a great job.
