Folding Partitions

Moving walls are a great way of partitioning an office, workplace or a classroom without permanently infringing on the working environment. They offer a truly flexible work space to suit a variety of uses. Schools for instance use movable partitioning to segregate zones within classrooms, canteens and sports halls, while small offices enjoy the option of creating a temporary meeting area. This type of partitioning is also helpful for large open planned offices that from time-to-time need isolated areas for specific work that may require a quieter environment. Hotels and conference rooms often find moving wall partitioning a fantastic option for creating breakout rooms, or for hosting more than one event at a time.

Whatever the requirement there are plenty of options to choose from, such as:

  • Electrically operated individually suspended panels
  • Straight sliding walls
  • Zigzag folding walls
  • Vinyl concertina
  • Lightweight sliding panels
  • Gliding panels that run on a ceiling mounted track to move anywhere within an work space

Our range of moving walls and partitioning are entirely bespoke and can even be finished with your own artwork, photograph, branding or corporate logo. The solid moving panels are available as practical dry-wipe boards, magnetic boards, laminate, veneer, decorative acrylics and polycarbonates.

Most of our moving walls run on aluminium tracks that can be recessed into the ceiling or floor, while our lightweight panels can be suspended from the ceiling with no requirement for floor tracks.

The acoustic ratings vary dependent on your choice of moving wall. If noise is more of an issue, we recommend a solid panel wall, which comes on a suspended track, as large sliding panels or bi-folding.
