Work is well and truly underway at this primary school in London to completely refurbish four classrooms.
The JBH team is working to complete each classroom refurbishment in just 3.5 weeks and is on target, with one already finished and the next is in the process.
Each classroom will undergo a complete strip-out of the flooring and walls. We then start from scratch to:
- Fit new insulated plasterboard walls, with tape and jointing
- Adapt, repair or replace the existing suspended ceiling
- Install new oak veneer doors
- Fit skylights within the pitched roof to bring much needed natural light in to the classroom
To complete the look the walls are being decorated in a bright white paint. This will create a gallery-inspired theme and act as a blank canvas for the children’s artwork. Not only will it inspire the children to be creative, but it will enable each class to make their classroom their own.
